Project Compassion is a community service ministry that connects college students with real opportunities to share love through action. Whether you're a Christian looking to serve or just wanting to give back to your community, we're excited to partner with you to step in and meet needs across the DMV and beyond.
Meet Our Coordinators
Judge & Susan Hensley
Fairfax Coordinators
Judge & Susan both became involved in community service while they were in college. After moving their family from California to Virginia, they sought ways to continue to give back and started Project Compassion as a way for College students to engage in meaningful and impactful service.
Mike & Tara Gee
D.C Coordinators
Mike and Tara are both working professionals living in Fairfax, Virginia. Mike's passion for community service started back when he went to Georgetown University and got to spend his spring breaks engaging in community service projects. Project Compassion is Tara and Mike's way of giving back to the DC community.

Join us this Easter season as we bring joy and hope to families at a local shelter! We’re putting on a Easter carnival for families at a local shelter — complete with games, prizes, and fun for all ages. Come serve, celebrate, and bring smiles this season!
